🎲 StackGammon Monthly Tournament
Stack Gammon is a fun, poker-inspired twist on a traditional backgammon tournament. Every player starts with an equal stack of chips and battles through escalating rounds where the stakes continue to rise. Win games, build your stack, and survive as players are gradually eliminated. At the end of the tournament, the remaining prize pool is distributed based on chip counts—making every decision, every point, and every chip matter.

Starting Stack
Each player begins with 10 chips.
Tournament Format
Players are paired each round.
Each match consists of 2 games of backgammon.
Chips are exchanged based on match results.
Survive and build your stack as the rounds progress.
Tournament participants must be 21+ to compete. Casual play is open to all ages, and everyone is welcome to join us for food, conversation, and social backgammon.
Escalating Stakes
The value of each game increases every round:
Round 1: 1x Points
Round 2: 2x Points
Round 3: 4x Points
Round 4: 8x Points
The doubling cube and chip movement increase each round, creating bigger swings and rewarding strong play.
Elimination
Players who lose all of their chips are eliminated from the tournament.
As the rounds progress, the field narrows until only the final chip holders remain.
Payouts
At the conclusion of Round 4:
💰 Every remaining chip is worth $1
Prize money is distributed based on each player's final chip count using an Independent Chip Model (ICM)-style payout structure.
Example:
40 Chips = $40
25 Chips = $25
15 Chips = $15
